LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida – All table-service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom will now serve alcohol after Disney announced that the remaining table-service restaurants, Crystal Palace and the Plaza Restaurant, added alcoholic beverages to their menus.
Be Our Guest in New Fantasy Land was the first restaurant to serve alcohol in the Magic Kingdom beginning in 2012.
Cinderella’s Royal Table, Liberty Tree Tavern, Skipper’s Canteen and Tony’s Town Square added alcohol to their menus in 2016.
Walt Disney was against serving alcohol in the Magic Kingdom when the park opened in 1971.
Epcot, which is known for its alcoholic drinks from different countries in World Showcase, has seen its share of over-imbibing park guests making the news over the years. The most notable of which was when a drunk patron climbed the pyramid in the Mexico pavilion.
