Significant Weather Advisory Issued For Northwestern Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida – The National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida, has issued a Significant Weather Advisory that will remain in effect until 2:45 p.m. for northwestern Brevard, eastern Seminole, eastern Orange, and southeastern Volusia counties on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

At 1:43 p.m. EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong line of showers and embedded thunderstorms near Titusville, moving north at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Locations impacted include Deltona, Titusville, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and Cocoa, Florida.
