Florida Woman Charged With Attempted Murder For Shooting Boyfriend Over Snoring

COCOA, Florida – A Florida woman is facing attempted murder charges after she allegedly shot her boyfriend because he was snoring too loudly on Wednesday.

According to Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies, 47-year-old Lorie Morin of Cocoa, Florida shot her new boyfriend who she met online and started to date two days after Valentine’s Day.

When deputies arrived, deputies found the male victim laying in a pool of blood after being shot in the armpit area.

The boyfriend told deputies that “a switch went off” in Morin after playing the card game Rummy.

The boyfriend attempted to retreat from the argument by going to bed, but Morin pursued the argument and pulled a shotgun on her newfound beau.

After hearing both sides of their stories, deputies ultimately arrested Morin at her residence located on Emerald Lake Drive Cocoa, Florida.

The Florida woman is  being held at the Brevard County Jail with no bond.
