NOAA’s National Hurricane Center issued a Public Advisory at 5 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, due to the presence of Tropical Storm Erin over the Atlantic Ocean.
Tropical Storm Erin is located 265 miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina and is moving to the north-northwest at 6 mph (9 km/h).

NHC forecasters say that Erin is expected to turn northward later today then north-northeastward early Thursday morning with an increase in forward speed.
