4 Fort Pierce Men Killed In Crash On I-95 Near Titusville

TITUSVILLE, Florida – Four people died in a vehicle accident involving a semi-truck that occurred just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, near mile marker 221 and Garden Street in Titusville, Florida.

30-year-old Juan Magana of Fort Pierce, Florida was driving a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck hauling a trailer with an excavator on the trailer southbound on I-95 in the right lane.

Meanwhile, 60-year-old Charles Doles of Georgia was driving a semi-truck car hauler southbound on I-95 in the center lane.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the left rear axle with two tires attached separated from the trailer being hauled by the Dodge Ram pickup.

Both the semi-truck and the Dodge Ram left the roadway and traveled onto the shoulder.

The Dodge overturned and the semi-truck jackknifed.

Two occupants of the Dodge Ram were ejected and the Dodge Ram came to a final rest underneath the semi-truck.

The driver and three passengers of the Dodge Ram, 38-year-old Jose Magana, 50-year-old Jaime Magana, and 58-year-old Jose Magana Gil, all of Fort Pierce, Florida, died.

The semi-truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
