FDLE Investigating Baby For Sale On Craigslist In Florida

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the posting of a newborn baby for sale on Craigslist for $500.

FDLE began investigating the Craigslist posting on Friday, according to News 6 WKMG.

“Baby is 2 weeks old. It sleeps, don’t make noise at night,” the ad read, according to the Miami Herald. “Formula and clothes will give it to you. Can give you the baby 4 year old sister for free.”

“I live in a quiet influential neighborhood. I work for the department of children and families. I don’t wanna be judged for not wanting these kids,” the Craigslist poster added.

FDLE is waiting for the return of computer records to help determine who posted the baby for sale on Craigslist and whether or not the ad was a hoax, WPTV reported.
