Spring Hill Woman, 18, Killed In Orlando Crash

ORLANDO, Florida – Alison Morizzo of Spring Hill, Florida died as a result of injuries she sustained in a single-vehicle crash that occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, on the I-4 and Florida Turnpike interchange in Orlando, Florida.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Joseph Morizzo, also of Spring Hill, was driving a 2008 BMW southbound on the Florida Turnpike when he went to exit onto the I-4 ramp.

For an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the ramp. The BMW then overturned.

18-year-old Alison Morizzo was pronounced deceased at the scene and transported to the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Joseph Morizzo was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.

Both occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

A toxicology report for the driver is pending.

The crash remains under investigation.
