“All Clear” Given After Bomb Threat At Patrick Air Force Base In Florida

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Florida – The all-clear has been given for Patrick Air Force Base in Florida after a bomb threat was reported around 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, December 6, 2019.

“Security Forces, EOD and the Fire Department have determined there is no credible threat to the area at this time,” the U.S. Air Force 45th Space Wing tweeted.

The bomb threat against the military installation comes just hours after a Saudi national went on a shooting rampage at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida.

The 45th Space Wing provides mission support for NASA, SpaceX, and ULA launches from nearby Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
