VIERA, Florida – Brevard County liberals will hold an “Impeach and Remove” U.S. President Donald Trump rally at 5:30 p.m. on December 17, 2019, outside Building C of the Viera Government Complex located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera, Florida.
Protesters will meet in front of The Brevard County Government Center, Building C (west side of the building, main entrance) which is the large open area with the reflecting pond and circle drive that faces west towards Stadium Parkway and the Viera Courthouse.
The rally is timed the night before the U.S. House of Representatives votes to impeach President Donald Trump as part of the nationwide “Nobody Is Above the Law” events occurring in more than 40 states and Washington, D.C.
Over 700 people have signed up on MoveOn.org to attend the rally today outside of U.S. Congressman Bill Posey’s office.
“The mobilization is part of a massive, grassroots effort to ensure Congress holds Donald Trump accountable for using military aid to pressure Ukraine to interfere in our 2020 elections,” wrote Space Coast Progressive Alliance spokesperson Vicki Impoco in an email.
“Brevard citizens will demand that the House of Representatives fulfills its constitutional duty by impeaching Donald Trump and that the Senate remove him from office for attempting to rig the 2020 elections. Congress must show that no one—including the criminal in the White House—is above the law.”
Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in the 8th District of Florida, Jim Kennedy will give a speech at the rally, along with several others.
Organizers will finish the protest with a call to action to contact Bill Posey’s office to vote ‘yes’ to impeach President Trump.
