New Antenna Signal Location For WFTV Channel 9 Tower

ORLANDO, Florida – If you are an east Central Florida cable cutter who uses a TV antenna to receive TV broadcast channels and suddenly lost the WFTV Channel 9 TV station signal, you are not alone.

That’s because WFTV shut down its primary TV broadcast transmitter located between Bithlo and Christmas, Florida for new updates required by the Federal Communications Commission.

The primary transmitter is expected to remain down for the rest of December 2019 and January 2020.

In the meantime, WFTV Channel 9 is broadcasting its signal from a backup transmitter located on Nova Road in St. Cloud, Florida.

So to get the WFTV Channel 9 signal, simply re-orient your TV antenna towards the back-up tower shown in the above map.
