Third Coronavirus Case Detected In Brevard County

UPDATE: More Details Released About Brevard’s 5 Coronavirus Cases

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida – A third positive case of coronavirus in Brevard County was identified by the Florida Department of Health on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

The third case is a female Brevard County resident who contracted COVID-19 from travel.

All three Brevard County coronavirus cases are travel-related, according to the Florida Department of Health.

The other cases are a 32-year-old male Northrop Grumman employee and an elderly female.

To date, fifteen people have been tested for COVID-19 in Brevard County. Three tested positive, seven negative, and five are pending.

The number of Florida coronavirus cases doubled in three days from 155 on March 16 to 314 on March 18.
