“I’m also announcing that our K through 12 schools will continue with distance learning for the duration of the school year,” Desantis said.

“It’s obviously not the ideal situation. But given where we are in the school year, we felt that was the best decision to go forward.”

“Distance learning will continue in Brevard Public Schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, Brevard Public Schools stated after Governor DeSantis’ announcement.

“We have just been informed of this decision, so please allow us time to gather all of the necessary information and we will provide further details next week. Enjoy your weekend.”
