ORLANDO, Florida – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced during a press conference at Universal Studios Orlando that Phase 2 reopening will start on Friday, June 5, 2020.
Bars, nightclubs, bowling alleys, and movie theaters will be allowed to reopen at 50% capacity under Phase 2. Bars can seat at 100% capacity for outdoor seating.
Retail stores and gyms may operate at 100% capacity but still must maintain social distancing and sanitation.
Pari-mutual gaming establishments must submit a re-opening plan to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations for approval to re-open.
Tattoo, massage, tanning, and acupuncture establishments may operate with social distancing and sanitation under guidance from the Florida Department of Health.
Phase 2 applies to all counties except Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.
