Tom Cruise To Ride SpaceX Rocket To International Space Station For Movie

Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon went vertical and the crew access arm was extended as part of the in-flight demonstration of the spacecraft’s launch escape system.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida – Actor Tom Cruise is slated to ride aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule to the International Space Station in October 2021 along with “The Bourne Identity” director Doug Liman in October 2021 to film a to-be-named movie, FOX News reported.

Additional details have not been released.

“NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station! We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality,” NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine  tweeted.

“Should be a lot of fun,” SpaceX CEO Elon Musk replied.
