After months of political wrangling with other lawmakers, Governor Rick Scott approved the controversial Sun Rail project according to Florida Department of Transpotation Secretary Ananth Prasad.

Secretary Prasad had been meeting with several local governments throughout Central Florida and announced on Twitter yesterday that the final decision would be announced at 11:00 a.m. today.

Tea Party activists throughout the State of Florida are angry at the Governor for his decision and have re-named the SunRail project “RickRail.”
