In continuing efforts to address prostitution within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Operations Unit conducted a prostitution reversal detail within the City of Melbourne.
The goal of this operation was to target the solicitor commonly referred to as “Johns”.
There were a total of four arrests during the detail. Three of the arrests were in the south end of Melbourne around the South US 1 corridor.
The other arrest was in the north end of the city around the US 1 and Aurora Road corridor.
The detail started at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening and concluded at 11:00 PM.
