Joint Security Exercise At Port Canaveral Today

A multi-agency security exercise is being conducted today in Port Canaveral at Rodney S. Ketcham Park and Freddie Patrick Park.

The mock ‘suspects’ are wearing dark red vests and their vessels will have a large X painted on the side.

The Transportation Security Administration, which is used jointly by both Port Canaveral and the Sanford Airport, is conducting the exercise in coordination with the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, and Port Canaveral Police.
