Brevard County Teacher Arrested For Selling Drugs

 

James Walter Johnson, an elementary teacher for Brevard County Public Schools, was arrested on October 19, 2011 by the Cocoa Police Department for allegedly selling more than 4, but less than 14, grams of Oxycodone which is a first degree felony.
56-year-old Johnson, who resides in Titusville, posted his $7,500 bond the day after his arrest.
His next court date is scheduled for November 29, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. before Brevard County Circuit Court Judge David Dugan for an arraignment hearing.
