SANFORD, Florida — The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office will wear mourning bands on their badges today to honor slain Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputy Barbara Pill.  The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office posted the following message on its facebook page:

“The men and women of SCSO today wear mourning bands on our badges and magnetic bands on the stars of our vehicles in honor of fallen Deputy Sheriff Barbara Pill of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Our condolences to her family, friends and loved ones and to the members of the Brevard Sheriff’s Office. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.”
