MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — A single-engine plane crashed in a wooded area near a canal located at the east side of the Merritt Island Airport today.
Two people are reported to be injured as a result of the crash according to Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson Lt. Jeffrey Taylor who provided the above photo to media this afternoon.
