MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — All north and southbound lanes on State Road 3 (Courtney Parkway) are re-opened near the intersection of State Road 528 (Beachline) in Merritt Island, Florida following a vehicle crash where a semi-tractor trailer overturned and leaked fuel around 11 a.m. this morning.
Brevard County Fire Rescue crews transported three accident victims with minor injuries. BCFR Hazardous Materials crews pumped the remaining fuel, stopped the fuel leak, and are cleaned the roadway.
The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that the eastbound ramp to SR 528 is also re-open.
