UPDATE: Goodman has since been arrested in Polk County, Florida.
COCOA, Florida — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Jeriod Terrell Goodman, an absconded sexual predator.
Goodman is a black man, approximately 5’10” tall, and 220 pounds. He was last seen on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 1633 Lake Drive, Lot 9 in Cocoa, Florida, wearing a white shirt, blue jean shorts, and white tennis shoes.
Goodman is on parole as a sexual predator for Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a Child. He was released on parole from prison on February, 15, 2013 and was outfitted with a GPS Monitoring System. BCSO spokesperson Lieutenant Tod Goodyear said in a release that Goodman cutoff his court-ordered monitoring device and fled the area.
Sheriff’s agents believe that Goodman is still in the central Brevard County area and warn that anyone harboring or assisting him in eluding law enforcement is also subject to arrest.
