Arrest Made In Titusville Shooting
TITUSVILLE, Florida — Titusville Police have arrested 20-year-old Jerome O. Walker, of Titusville, Florida, for a shooting at a local apartment complex.
Police say that, after a verbal confrontation escalated, Walker fired a pistol at two people he was arguing with. No one was injured by gunfire, however one of the rounds Walker allegedly fired went through the window of an occupied apartment.
Walker has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. According to police, one of Walker’s prior convictions was for a firearm violation. Walker is currently out on bond for grand theft auto, fleeing and attempting to elude, and driving while license suspended.
