After the fire had been extinguished, the Florida State Fire Marshall was called to the scene to determine the origin of the fire.  Agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Methamphetamine Suppression Team were also called to the residence to investigate the circumstances surrounding the suspicious residential fire.

Investigators later determined that 23-year-old Bradley Scott Warren of Taft, Tennessee had gathered and possessed specific listed chemicals for the sole purpose of manufacturing methamphetamine. However, before Warren was able to begin producing the methamphetamine, he accidentally ignited the fire, authorities say.

Warren was later arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail in Sharpes, Florida where he is being held on a no bond status on the charges of arson and possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
