UPDATE: Police have identified yesterday’s shooting victim as 18-year-old Marvin McDonald of Titusville, Florida. Mcdonald is listed in stable condition. Previous Story:
TITUSVILLE, Florida– At approximately 4:40 p.m. today, Titusville police responded to the 1500 Block of Elizabeth Avenue in Titusville, Florida for a report of a shooting in the area.
When officers arrived, they discovered a male who had suffered a gunshot wound. Titusville Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue crews arrived on scene and issued a trauma alert. Rescue crews then transported the victim to a helicopter landing site where he was airlifted to a local hospital and is being treated for his wounds. Police say that his condition is unknown at this time.
Detectives with the Titusville Police Department are canvassing the area and following up on leads in the investigation.
