COCOA BEACH, Florida — As of 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, swells generated by Tropical Storm Kate combined with light winds are creating clean breaking waves 3-5 feet in height.
Jelly Fish: Jelly fish, including Portuguese Man-o-War, are present in the ocean from Jetty Park to Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Moon Jellyfish, Aurelia aurita, are present in high numbers along Brevard County beaches which is typical for this time of year.

The tail end of the 2015 Mullet Run is still ongoing. Large Jacks, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Snook can be caught with live finger mullet on a free line (no weight used). Croaker, Whiting, Sheepshead, Flounder, and Black Drum can be caught using shrimp on a weighted line near the piers and jetties.
