Incorrect Garlic Knots Order Sparks Riot At Florida Pizzeria

PALM COAST, Florida – An incorrect order of garlic knots sparked a small riot inside a Florida pizzeria on Friday.

According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, a verbal argument between customers and employees of Palm Coast Pizza erupted into a melee just after 9 p.m. on Friday about an order of garlic knots having cheese on them when 25-year-old Jessica Conti had allegedly ordered the garlic knots without cheese.

When the employees offered Conti her money back, other members of her party allegedly opened a door and stormed the kitchen area where they began throwing food and pizza boxes everywhere. An unidentified member of the group also threw a glass Parmesan cheese dispenser at a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, breaking the screen.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the group had left the pizzeria by time deputies arrived at the restaurant located on Palm Harbor Parkway in Palm Coast, Florida. However, the suspects were later identified and arrested. Jessica Conti, 23-year-old Vincent Conti, 23, 26-year-old Hareem Jones, and 32-year-old Shawn Cody were all charged with battery and criminal mischief.
