GRANT-VALKARIA, Florida – A man has been shot by a Brevard County Sheriff’s deputy around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Grant-Valkaria.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Honey Lane following reports to 911 of a suspect armed with a box-cutter type knife.

No deputies were injured in during the incident.
