Florida Deputy Severely Injured In Crash

JUPITER, Florida – A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy was severely injured in a crash that occurred before 6 a.m. near the intersection of Florida’s Turnpike off-ramp to Exit 116 and Indiantown Road West (State Road 706).

Two vehicles involved in the crash, including the deputy’s vehicle, had severe front-end damage.

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the off-ramp remains closed as of 9:38 a.m.
