CANAVERAL GROVES, Florida – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation of four people who were found dead at a residence on Alan Shepard Avenue in Canaveral Groves, Florida.

The victims are 3 females and 1 male with one of the female victims identified as a juvenile. There are also two small children found inside the home who were left unharmed.

This morning around 1:55 a.m. a person who lived outside the home received a video chat from one of the small children, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey stated during a press conference.

The small child told the 911 caller of what took place at the house and the person drove to the residence and then called 911.

Deputies arrived on the scene and determined that the four victims were deceased.

Sheriff Ivey said that investigators believe this was an isolated incident and not a random act of violence.

An active investigation is still ongoing at the residence.
